These fast moving nocturnal insects can typically travel up to 50 metres in search of food and are usually spotted out at night in kitchens, basements or heating ducts.
In the UK, there are two main types of cockroach — the German cockroach and the Oriental cockroach. The former is a fan of warm, moist environments and infestations are often found in heating systems in large domestic and commercial buildings.
While the Oriental cockroach can move very rapidly, making it a pain to catch, so efficient and effective professional cockroach control is necessary.
